BLACKland is the collective creation of the Krétakör Company: a dark, grotesque and satirical vision of the world we live in. The stories are based on the SMS messages collected since 1 January 2004, which compose the daily "news" in 160 characters. These inspired the actors to improvise scenes and musical numbers which add up not to a traditional drama, but to an absurd feast, an initiation ceremony of sorts.

Bojan Gorišek, piano / Milko Lazar, piano

Music by Milko Lazar

Venue: AKKU - Alternative Cultural Communities Union (Kazinczy u. 21, 7th district)
Organized by Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Budapest

The piano duo "Gorišek Lazar 2 pianos" combines two extraordinary Slovenian musicians: Bojan Gorišek - the leading Slovenian pianist in the field of contemporary music and Milko Lazar - one of the most popular Slovenian composers and one of the most universal musicians in Slovenia. He is active as composer, pianist, saxophonist, harpsichord player and jazz musician. The piano duo will perform music, which was written for this formation by Milko Lazar and which is crossing the borders between classics and jazz music.
